Girls Just Want To Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper

I come home in the morning light
My mother says: "When you gonna live your life right?"
Oh, mother, dear
We're not the fortunate ones
And girls
They wanna have fun
Oh, girls
Just wanna have fun

The phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells: "What you gonna do with your life?"
Oh, daddy, dear
You know you're still number one
But girls
They wanna have fun
Oh, girls, just wanna have
That's all they really want...
Some fun...

When the working day is done
Oh, girls
They wanna have fun
Oh, girls
Just wanna have fun....

Girls
They want
Wanna have fun
Girls
Wanna have

Some boys take a beautiful girl
And hide her away from the rest of the world
I wanna be the one to walk in the sun
Oh, girls
They wanna have fun
Oh, girls
Just wanna have
That's all they really want...
Some fun...

When the working day is done
Oh, girls
They wanna have fun
Oh, girls
Just wanna have fun...

Girls
They want
Wanna have fun
Girls
Wanna have

They just wanna
They just wanna...
(Girls...)
They just wanna
They just wanna...
(Girls just wanna have fun...)

Morning glory 朝顔

Morning glory  朝顔

An annual climbing plant originally produced in Asia, morning glory blooms from midsummer to early fall.
アジア原産の一年草のツル草で、朝顔は盛夏のころから初秋にかけて咲きます。

It was brought to Japan for medical purposes by an envoy to China sometime in the 900s and began to be cultivated.

Let It Go music video

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight,
not a footprint to be seen.
A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen.
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside.
Couldn't keep it in, Heaven knows I tried.
Don't let them in, don't let them see.
Be the good girl you always have to be.
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know.
Well, now they know!
Let it go, let it go!
Can't hold it back any more.
Let it go, let it go!
Turn away and slam the door.
I don't care what they're going to say.
Let the storm rage on.
The cold never bothered me anyway.
It's funny how some distance,
makes everything seem small.
And the fears that once controlled me, can't get to me at all
It's time to see what I can do,
to test the limits and break through.
No right, no wrong, no rules for me.
I'm free!
Let it go, let it go.
I am one with the wind and sky.
Let it go, let it go.
You'll never see me cry.
Here I'll stand, and here I'll stay.
Let the storm rage on.
My power flurries through the air into the ground.
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back; the past is in the past!
Let it go, let it go.
And I'll rise like the break of dawn.
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand, in the light of day.
Let the storm rage on!
The cold never bothered me anyway...

Wind-bells 風鈴

Wind-bells  風鈴

Furin are small bells made of glass, metal or ceramic which are hung from the eaves of houses chiefly in summer.
風鈴は、ガラスや金属、陶器でできた小さな鈴で、主に夏の間、家の軒先などに釣り下げます。

A rectangular strip of paper, which is called tanzaku, is hung from a clapper, and ancient Japanese poems or verses are written on it.
鈴の下方には、短冊とよばれる長方形の紙片が付いており、ここには日本の古い詩や歌が書かれています。

When the tanzaku catches the breeze, the bell chimes. In the hot, humid Japanese summer, the sound of the wind bell vibrating in the breeze is, for the Japanese, a puff of coolness.
短冊が風を受けると鈴が鳴ります。湿気が多くてむし暑い日本の夏ですが、風鈴が風に搖れる音は、日本人にとっては一服の清涼剤なのです。
